Mission Statement

Bridges Christian College exists to cultivate the hearts and minds of Spirit-empowered leaders for ministry where life and God connect.

I. “Bridges Christian College exists to cultivate the hearts…”

Institutional Goals

Bridges Christian College will recruit students in whom there is a hunger for sound biblical and theological thoughts, principles, and words that will allow them to move into a future aligned with the deeper truths of God’s Word and not just personal spiritual experiences in their formational years.
Bridges Christian College will work to prepare hearts for the oversight and development of God’s work in and around us in this time and in many places around the world.
Bridges Christian College will endeavor to establish a culture of assessment throughout the entire College community.

Institutional Objectives

BCC shall endeavor to prepare students’ minds and hearts to lead others in biblical/theological and rightful ways.
Bridges Christian College will endeavor to develop students of spiritual discernment, who are involved in social engagement, modeling the way of Jesus in their world.
The College will cultivate students’ relational understanding of the deepest needs of humanity.
BCC’s departments and offices, in keeping with the institutional assessment plan, will develop an assessment rationale, structure, and processes for evaluation, analysis, and reporting, which, when implemented will improve institutional effectiveness.

Institutional Goals

The College will prepare students to face a society which is resistant to the Jesus mindset and become instruments of change by becoming an ever-increasing Christian influence in our world.
BCC shall endeavor to prepare students’ minds and hearts to lead others in biblical/theological and rightful ways.
Bridges Christian College shall undertake the construction of semantic and experiential bridges which lead toward God-intentioned evangelism and discipleship to ensure foundational values for global ministry.
The College will prepare students to model for their generation in being morally and spiritually responsible people.
The College will provide developmental tools that will give rise to spiritually mature leaders grounded in Biblical principles and practices.
BCC will seek to equip students to serve as leaders in practical church ministry based on both Biblical and contemporary principles and practices.
The College will cultivate students’ relational understanding of the deepest needs of humanity.
Bridges Christian College will establish a basic understanding of cross-cultural ministry in our increasingly diverse world.
